Google AdWords Pay Per Click Management

Google Sponsored Results

Google Sponsored and Natural Results
Google is the counterpart to Yahoo! Search Marketing and a giant in the pay-per-click advertising industry. The engine Google uses to show its ads based on bids is a little different from Yahoo!'s: for instance, even if a merchant on Google is not the highest bidder, he can rise to top standing if his ad is clicked more than others. Google rotates its ads very fairly, as well, so everyone gets exposure.

AWS can take on the often tedious and time-consuming task of managing your Google campaign. When you contract us to manage your key phrases, you're putting your trust in a company that has done a great deal of research on how both "natural" search engine optimization and pay-per-click systems work, and we can help find the right key phrases and write the online ads your clientele is looking for. Here's how it works:

  1. AWS sets up a Google AdWords account for you or your company
  2. We gather information on your business and its current standings on the Internet, for reference as we grow your Web image.
  3. We help you formulate an advertising budget based on your specific needs
  4. Research is conducted on which key phrases will be the best to bid on. This process is ongoing, and we make sure that users are actually searching for the phrases we bid on, so you are not wasting your energy or your capital.
  5. We write advertisements for your sponsored listings and match them to specific key phrases and phrase groups.
  6. Your ad goes live, appearing when a user searches for the key phrase you've bid on!
  7. Once the initial campaigns are created, we keep a close eye on your bidding placement, and provide monthly reports and service to keep your bids competitive and to prune out dead phrases.
The prices below indicate AWS fees for management of a Google AdWords account. These fees are separate from the bids you will place as part of your pay per click campaign.

AWS Knowledge Base Information

What is Pay Per Click Advertising? See our Yahoo! Search Marketing page for a description of Pay Per Click advertising.
Where will my ad appear? Google places its sponsored ads at the top of results, in colored bars, and at the right, in vertical columns with white backgrounds. Other websites affiliated with Google may display ads differently.
What determines my place in the search results when I bid on a key phrase? Google is a bit different from Yahoo! in this respect. In AdWords, Google will place an ad higher than another whose bid amount is higher, if that ad has a higher click-through rate (CTR). This works from the idea that web surfers will click on the ad that appeals to them most, and since Google is all about relevance, this usually means that the ad surfers clicked on was more relevant than the one bidding a higher amount. Therefore the more frequently clicked ad deserves to be first, and can be more often than it bid amount merits.
What other features does Google AdWords have? Tons of great stuff! Conversion tracking is one of the most powerful and most important to merchants. Conversion tracking allows you to know exactly how users are navigating your site by keeping track of their path through the pages of your site, and, most importantly, whether or not they buy. "Conversion code" is placed on your product (or signup) page, and when a user actually purchases your product, the conversion is recorded at Google along with the key phrase that led the visitor there. You get clean reports from AWS at the end of the month detailing your exact cost per conversion (CPC) and return on investment (ROI).
How much does it cost? Google ads tend to be more expensive per click than Yahoo! ads, but the adage applies: you get what you pay for. Google has a lot of traffic and can help direct that traffic to your site; and it's all in how much you want to spend. The merchant can put a cap on spending per day, which Google won't exceed. The system is very customizable and hugely profitable when managed correctly. Give AWS a call and we'll help you get started.
